What beautiful words he speaks. When the Lord speaks to me about His profound love, many times I am overwhelmed to the point of tears & start sobbing in His amazing presence. My mind whirls around trying to comprehend or even understand such a love. But truly our mind can never fully understand this great love.
We all struggle with issues of love; loving others and especially loving ourselves! Depending on how hurt or even 'emotionally or physically' abused we've been throughout our life, we tend to not quite understand the immense, all encompassing love that God has for us.
When we really think about it...who would allow their son to be beaten, ridiculed, shamed, spit on, dishonored, kicked, slapped and violently verbally accosted, and eventually crucified at the hands of mere mortals? (who I might add God himself created) Then on top of all this (as if there could be any worse) to die for YOU AND ME... I ask you to just ponder and meditate on this reality... If you have children, you certainly know and understand how precious and irreplaceable they are. Just think: Would you have that kind of love to allow your child to die for someone else?
When we really check our hearts, most of us would immediately say "No way". Let's be real here, we would all say the same big, NO WAY! (especially us super protective 'lioness mamas that would come running to defend our kitties)
I praise God for His faithfulness and immense love for us all. That's right! ALL His children are precious and irreplaceable in His eyes.
I know that without my Beloved's love, I would not have made it to where I am today... I am continuously humbled by His great love that surpasses any other love I have ever experienced. He is truly awesome and well, just one of a kind! Perfect!
